Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery of artwork.
I live in College Grove, Tennessee just south of Nashville. This is a beautiful state and magnificent country of which I strive to bring to my painting.
The early morning hours in my studio are when my inspiration and creativity blossom. My travels around the world have also acted as a visual diary, capturing the color, beauty and splendor I have encountered.
My work is primarily abstract utilizing many tools and media to enhance my process and art product. I begin most often selecting my color palette, of which I am always tremendously excited about, and then randomly marking my canvas or board to warm up. Subsequently, I create many layers which can also include texture.
Beyond my artistic endeavors, I have many interests including loving and riding my amazing horse, Elvis. We have been together for 19 years. I also love to cook, read, immerse myself in music and staying physically and mentally fit. These hobbies complement my artistic practice as they provide continuous inspiration and joy.
